A Year in the Mosh-Pits of Tampa Bay Death Metal

My name is dwiG, and i'm just an old kid who joined a Metal band one year ago last month. Today i had a thought,"dwiG, you should document this plot to defecate on this spot and help spread the disease that is Death Metal."  I sat in my chair and began to swear, but then found my pipe and quick with a light I soon thought of a tune belonging to  a band you too should hear from this Tampa Bay land; Zephyrhills that is. trailer parks and spotted swamps, even a highway er two.

Mad Splatter  we like the label Death Swamp Thrash but you can call us anything you want except late for the party. We cant make it to all of them but we still appreciate the Metal Movement across Florida. Looking back on this past year I realized we jammed with some talented artists.
My first gig of the year with \mad/ opened for Formulus  Dark Disciple  and   Insatanity

Talk about a party; that was a bad ass show my friends \m/
Shortly after that we Splattered the State Theater with now friends Dark Disciple   Kadaver Dolls
Moral Decline   Unchecked Aggression   and                                                                                         Grasping at the Shadow
Then I realized even more bad-ass bands we rocked the fuck out with like  NervoChaos and Impurity
MINDSCAR   Three Knuckles Deep   Vital Remains  SHATTERED  and   Hate Eternal

Some of Florida's best and those are just some of the stage jams. We met a lot a fukrs this year. Pig Pen    Bleeding Money   Generichrist   Sorcerer
and a tone more i cant think of at the moment, we jammed they jammed everybody moshed and screamed; i had a blast. one more this month with RipTorn  Lacerate  Calamity  Silge and Zafakon

Mad Splatter teaming with  Bloody Hammer Productions  and Swampland Studios 2016 is going to be \MAD/ ^,,^ \MAD/

A Mad Splatter Punk-N-Metal Sacrifice and Feast

Mad Splatter is honored to have opened the evening at the "House show from hell II; the bloody revenge"  A night of Punk and Metal 'Garage Party Style'. Vehicles lined both sides down the street for two blocks; a mixture of friends and artists participating in the feasting of the honorably sacrificed pig while indulging in the celebration of bad-ass music.
\MAD/ Splattered the stage area with our Swamp Thrash style of Tampa Bay Death Metal and the hosts of the party Bleeding Money took over and began a tidal wave of Punk sending the adrenaline-raged audience into a frenzy.

The Party powered on with Sorcerer  Beerwolf Ghost of senior class on through even when the police showed up to make sure the street stayed clear and said nothing of the level of noise or size of the group. Mad Splatter has an astounding appreciation for the support and respect the fans and friends of Punk-N-Metal have for each other. We had an awesome night.

Generichrist stole the show. we will engorge ourselves on that which is Death! You guys are brutal   \m/

we see a lot of fans showing support most places we go \m/ keep it up, with out you coming too it becomes trying

Thanks for having us \mad/ ^..^  \mad/   shook some familiar hands and knocked new elbows...
                         \Mad/   until the next    \Mad/

Locust Swarm and A bottle of Piss

Two brutal songs of the two most brutal bands of the entire show this past Tuesday evening at The State Theater in St. Pete, Fl. One  night on the Hate Eternal Tour with guests Dark Disciple Mad Splatter Shattered and Grasping at the Shadows , the Mad Splatter Gang indulged in some leisure moshing and screaming with some of our best friends from the Bay.
"It don't matter a fuck to me...", said Dusty on stage to me during a brief moment in between songs. "...be it 30 people moshing and screaming out obscenities or 3 dudes and a groupie, I'm jamming the fuck out with some kick-ass bands and it feels good to me; stay off the speakers dwiG."
Grasping at the Shadows kicked off the night with violin-metal masterwork and willingly opened the gates for \mad/ to escape the swamp pits and splatter there presences all over the stage. Shattered claiming the center of the night with thrash-core riffs and demon style before releasing the evil that is Dark Disciple dominating the mosh until finally sacrificing the remaining followers of metal to the masters of the evening Hate Eternal.

This is only the second time we've played our newest song 'Fuck your Conscience; pull the Trigger' on stage and i believe it has a good atmosphere  to it and comes across well as an opener.   \MAD/ props to the sound and lighting crew all the bands performances of the night looked and sound crushing.
To our friends who couldn't make the show , You missed a good one. Mad Splatter is proud and humbled to those who helped the evening go so well. The Bartenders were awesome and security behaved themselves  pretty well.

Now back to the swamp for a turkey feast then this week end a House Party?!!! It seems we've been invited to a Sacrifice and Feast this coming Sat. Metal and pigs and a keg and now \mad/  ^..^  \mad/

Mad Splatter of Zephyrhills Swamp-thrash/ Death Metal

Yep you're not hallucinating; Death Metal/ Swamp Thrash band from Zephyrhills, Florida. Our "Splatter Gang" is building a reputation around the Tampa Bay Area for impressions of their love for the music, not just on stage but in the audience as well. Invite Mad Splatter to play and they mosh and Pitt throughout the evening.  "Splatter Pitt" was the description given by Brian Warner front man for Vital Remains, after a Jam at Brass Mug Mad Splatter felt the need to bleed as it were
; f.y.i.  the floor at the Brass Mug is as hard as concrete.
Photos captured guitarist Keven joining in the theatrical moshing at a Green Jelly show in St Pete. The gang was all there not for a gig but enjoying some punk on an off weekend. Dusty and Duane rocking the Pit beating the masked Keven right out of his shoes; on a return visit to Local 662, in order to retrieve his missing foot ware, he captured a quick selfie with front man Maynare Keenan .aka... billy-bob

' Quest for the Golden Horns' if a reason be needed for this 'Splatter Gang' to indulge in an evening of Metal and Beer with shots of what ever is on the menu that day; if you find yourself with this group at a show you're in for an explosive evening. Don't be shy, come join in on the fun. you may find yourself to be the star of the night, Lord of the Pit, even a Saint of the Mosh
Cattle Decapitation was no exception. Hung out for an hr and a half waiting out back after the show at The Orpheum in Ybor City for a pic with Travis Ryan ; bad ass show there folks  \m/  ^..^  \m/     we tried to get that gig but...\MAD/... next time brother.
Two more shows this year Hate Eternal next in our sites. Prepare your self for a  \MAD/  Night at the State Theater in St. Pete. Hook up with Brian on Facebook for your less expensive advanced tickets.
