MadSplatter Baker-Acted ; an ending to the MADness?

Lore has it as if a band can survive recording of a new album it is to be; rumor also claims most bands never make it past the first three songs. Saddens me to say , MadSplatter has fallen to this incurable disease.   A 'Stentorian Clot' has ended the "MADness"

a collection of art and spoken word along with pictures and videos of a 6 year sprint will slowly be released into the population. The Self-titled album MadSplatter will be available. Pics and moments from the leaky-ass (sometimes flooded out) bucket shed all through to the 'Silver daddy' - bleeding in moments @ Brock's Garage. All that has been documented  All will be reviled.

The Family will grow and mature into a new generation of fans from the swamp; continuously seeking refuge in the depths of madness within the Metal. Together we shall rise from the ashes of an indestructible monster and create an  insatiable Craze of  Metal and Funk and Death and Junk and NOISE the likes our universe has never heard before.

END    is just the beginning of  a  NEW

Thank You    you Mad Fucks and Splatterett's    we appreciate you all and all you have done,

                                                                                                   MadSplatter

MadSplatter's New Album?

MadSplatter released a self-titled  demo CD a few years ago but we never followed through with production, Fans who were lucky enough to snag a bootleg copy from the sound cloud page, or hear the songs play on Jango radio are treated to some "KILLER" movie samples throughout the album expressing the story line of the songs. MAD plans to release the actual "Splatter" CD  (recorded at Swampland Studios) with most of the same samples in 2019 with a few of the songs featuring Dusty during the guitar solos, not just Kevin.

Four New songs for the next album are on the recording line up with Brock and JoEz adding their influence to the mix.  We are continuing on using my Presonus InO;  even though its only a two input recording (three if we run a midi)  So from "Go" we are losing sound quality of our drums. Each of Brock's mics are run into his Mixer where then we run the left and right "out's" into my InO,
(my Studio One program does not recognize his mixer).

It is an inexpensive way of capturing the sound though cheapens down the quality by not allowing post mixing of each drum track (once recorded the two drum tracks are all there is; a left and a right mixture of all the drums together). So need in test recording to achieve the proper levels for each drum is a necessarily and repetitive process (Joey is going crazy waiting to get his parts down; he is last in turn for this process lol).

We plan to re-record one song from the original and add to the new album due to the speed we have increased it to and some different samples with Brock as the beat master (Keith's drums on the original album are perfect for those songs and all will be kept as such, were not changing the past here we are creating a new future)
dwiG is working on a nice video clip and picture documentation flick for a "look back" during the time of the album.

The album "MadSplatter" Features the two very first  Original recordings of "Deed for a Psycho" and "Rotting Species" captured and mixed by a school audio class project.  the members of the band at the time Keith, Adam, Dusty and Scotty (however the base on the recordings is Dusty). It wasn't until after Kevin and dwiG joined the band, filling the empty left by Scott and Adam, when recordings for the rest of the album continued.

Just as we went into the studio we added Didier on guitar and though his membership was short lived he is in the recordings for most of the songs. Recently Dusty returned to SwampLand and recorded his own solos into some of the works and when the money gods approve the request we shall produce (if possible) both albums and throw the CRAZIEST CD Release shin-dig this side of the swamp.

MadSplatter the rest of 2018

2018 became a year full of events some of which we would rather not have experienced, though the shows all kicked ass. Splatter Bash III went off the chain with the 2018 Bashers performing well beyond expectations; personally i give part credit to the fans who come to support the bands. Brass Mug's stage can leave the performers feeling a little left out of the party, so when the crowd's feedback is as supportive as this night was the artists power up from the energy and give it back to the audience as an ever growing intensity of energy kinda like The Incredible Hulk only with more music.
June brought us a show with Iron Cross and our buds Graverot, adding Precipice and Omega Strain to the bill we crushed the night. Ice cold brews and excellent treatment from the bars Staff made for an epic night of metal and friends doing what we do best; PARTY!
Not about to slow down half way through the year, July took us to the new Pegasus Lounge Night Club where Julie and her staff greeted  the FDMS crew and our friends Deceptive Intruder with just as much love as she has always shown MadSplatter's Family. We love the new place and are excitedly waiting for our next jam there. August created a Double-Splatter Weekend bringing us first on Fri to Metal for Ipads where we played the night with the great and powerful ARGUS and Nasty Savage. A very fulfilling show with Planet Graveyard and Against My Will  help us all to raise money to give to Apple A Day Foundation. love the Metal for a cause gigs.
Saturday we returned to the stage for the second annual MurderFest; really appreciate the Florida Death Metal Scene. FDMS helping to spread the fuckery that is Local Death Metal across the entire state of Florida.
September broke our heart. We lost our little sister Jamie to a fatal drug encounter. Performing to help raise almost $1000 for her family with some of the sickest looking Art work and t-shirts donated for raffle by some of the coolest people in the world; MadSplatter loves you all Please be careful in your choices we are not indestructible.

We ended Sept. playing the final night of the Three Day Florida Extreme Metal Fest;  salvaged from the ashes of a debauchery. Some putts trying to rip off bands by creating a fake gig but collected real advanced ticket purchases  fucked over some Over Sea bands promising a show that didn't exist.  FDMS tried to make it right and set this up; it was sooooooo fucking killer i would be surprised if they don't do it again, only this time without the bullshit dude.
Early Oct we visited New Port Richie at Venom's Backroom Bar and Grill with The Omega Strain and for Halloween we stayed home in Zephyrhills  for  Sacrifice on the Farm II.
Our last show of the year was a private gathering in Brock's Garage at MadSplatter Studios. we invited Thrash Attack with Pagan Faith and got loud and drunk and ate and drank and got louder and had a fucking blast.
Yep 2018 was full of killer shows and awesome friends, made great memories and learned to remember to cherish those memories and create new ones as often as possible. looking to this next year with big plans for new shows and new music and lots of Party's; keep up if you can and remember if ya hit the floor you can always crawl.
